Our Base

From small beginnings in south London the ministry has expanded over the years. In 1993 RW moved to its current premises near Leeds, in the north of England. This complex of buildings is not only the home of Radio Worldwide's workers, offices and studio facilities, but it is also WEC International's Northern Centre and houses a number of different ministries.

Our Aim

RW has a worldwide vision. Our aim is to make radio work for the Church worldwide. This is mainly done by enabling and empowering Christians around the world - through training and partnership projects - to use radio to reach out to those around them. We also seek to touch lives through our programmes, broadcast either locally and on the internet.

Prayer

However dedicated or gifted, the RW team is by no means self-sufficient. They recognise the vital role of prayer and the need for others to stand with them in prayer. In this way, many people around the world are involved in making the ministry of RW fruitful and effective.
