Here are a few links related to Radio and other media.

• BBC News for up-to-date news items in the UK, and around the world.
• The Radio Authority is a good place to look for application forms, information and costs for setting up an independent radio station. You can get an application for a RSL here.
• UK Radio.com is "the Radio Industry's most referenced news source". This site is aimed at the radio broadcast professional and all those with an interest in the industry.
• The Community Media Association is a group set up to support community media groups in the UK, and now worldwide. On their site you can expect to find information about training resources, as well as links and advice.
• Radio Presenting offers some useful hints & tips on presentation for music radio.
• ChristianRadio.com is a website listing Christian Radio stations and resources.
• Christianradio.org.uk is a UK based website listing some Christian Radio and Television stations, as well as other organisations. There is information here on how to get a temporary RSL.

• Broadcast Warehouse is a supplier of equipment for small scale stations.
• FM-Transmitter.com is a useful resource for Broadcast & Studio professionals. This site includes a large database of products varying from broadcast transmitters to portable minidisc players.
• Veronica Broadcasting Equipment is another equipment supplier.
• NRGKits are the makers of transmitters and kits

Software Links

Here are some software links. Most of these are to sources of excellent and FREE programs.

• Arachnophilia is a great HTML Editor to design a simple website.
• HTMlib is an HTML reference library, and a brilliant reference to HTML.
• SUSE is our recommended source of GNU/Linux distributions (despite not really being free).
• Pegasus Mail is our standard Email client and an excellent program. Now available in version 4.
• Cool Edit now called Adobe Audition is the coolest audio editor around! (It is worth the money, but we're looking for a good free alternative.)
• Sun Star Office is our preferred Office application, but is no longer free. (The open source relation is Open Office.)
• Antivir Personal Edition is our reccomended antivirus package, which is free for personal (non-commercial) use.
• RealVNC is the original open-source cross-platform remote control solution. It is for our user support.
• Winamp this is the second best way to play MP3s! (Our version of MPQ is best!)
