THE RADIO WORLDWIDE TEAM
|
Danny and Ann Marie
Danny and Ann Marie joined the team in 1990,
with a particular burden for the peoples of Central Asia. In previous years Danny has had considerable
input into a media project in Central Asia. Ann Marie is involved in a new programme called
Letters to my Daughers, which is aimed at Muslim women in Central Asia. In September last year,
Danny and Ann Marie have taken on the leadership of Radio Worldwide. They have three sons, Daniel, Jonathan and
Joshua.

Ivan and Ruth
Ivan has been producing programmes in the Hindi language since 1978 and
edits the Hindi Magazine "Path-Pradarshak". His wife Ruth joined the
team in 1986 and produces audio material in the English. She also has the overall responsibility
for our Audio Prayer News. Ruth also helps with training.
|
Grace
Having joined RW in 1965 Grace is the longest
serving member. These days, much of her time is taken up with book-keeping
and administration, but she too has
some input into both programming and training.
|
Christopher
Christopher worked as programme producer for FEBA Radio
in India and the Seychelles before joining Radio Worldwide in 1989. Since 1992 Christopher has headed up RW's
training ministry, arranging courses in the UK and overseas, so his responsibilities frequently take him away from home.
Chris is married to Bela and they have two children, Anugrah and Abhishek.
|
Peter
An engineer by profession, Peter joined the team
in 1998 to help primarily
with technical development. He is now involved in computer programming, support
and maintenance. He also gives some of his time to help with caring for the
property.
|
Roger and Kathy
Roger and Kathy joined the team as longterm
staff members in January 2004. Their first contact with RW was as students
in July 1998, while they were still at Bible College. Since then they have
served with Diguna and FEBA Radio in East Africa, before transferring to
WEC International in 2003. The Stolls are the only members of our team not
residing here in Rothwell. After having spent a year in France for language study,
they are now in the process of moving to Togo in West Africa. They are seconded
to IBRA Radio in order to set up and run a media training centre in Francophone Africa.
They have 3 daughters, Elena, Fiona and Sydney.
|
Derek and Barbara
Derek and Barbara have been Associate Workers
with WEC for many years. When RW was based in London, they gave one day a
week to help with the ministry. Since the team moved to Rothwell,
Derek and Barbara have been commuting to West Yorkshire and spending
approximately one week every month helping the team. Derek does everything
from PAT testing electrical equipment to troubleshooting mixer faults.
|
Mike
Mike is an electrician by profession, and first
did some wiring for RW over 20 years ago. Since then he has worked as
electrician at WEC's UK headquarters, until his 'retirement' in 1999,
at which point he moved up to Yorkshire. He continues to help occasionally
with electrical work at Radio Worldwide, and these days duplicates and sends
out our monthly Audio Prayer News. He too is an Associate Worker.
|
Michael
Michael, also know as Scottie here at RW has been helping us since we moved to Rothwell in 1993. First of all we "employed" him as a builder, and it was him who helped building our studios among many other things. In 2007 Michael has finally become an RW associate and now has many responsibilities relating to the maintenance and upkeep of the buildings and property here in Rothwell. Scottie is also our driver, and he has a particular burden and interest to serve the local church and worldwide missions through our music recording studios.
|
Sue
Sue joined us as an associate in 2007 and has been a great help doing many tasks including admin for Ann Marie particularly. She is also the technical assistant for Letters to my Daughters, and lately she has been helping Ann Marie with "Arise", the Central Asian Women's conference.
